FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • All skip bins must NOT be filled higher than the rim (Drivers can be prosecuted for unsafe or overloaded transport). The driver may refuse to take your skip bin until the overload waste is removed (see Terms and Conditions) If you have underestimated your waste please order another skip bin rather than doing the wrong thing, give us a call and we can organise a changeover of the old bin for a new one.
  • Times are not guaranteed, due to unforeseen circumstances that are beyond our control caused directly or indirectly by such, including, but not limited to: vehicle malfunction/breakdown, prior contaminations and misuse, access limitations, weather. If you require the bin be delivered at a certain time, please book the bin to be delivered the day prior or contact us to arrange.

  • Generally, hire of the bin is up to 10 days; Should you need the bin longer than first specified please phone us ahead of collection to reorganise if possible.

  • Yes, you can by contacting us - subject to availability, will try to have your collection reallocated.

  • Only our 2 cubic metre skip bins don't have access doors. All our other skip bin sizes have a door for wheelbarrow access.

  • We offer the following:
    1. Light General Waste – Timber furniture; Clothing; Toys; White Goods; Green Waste & Electrical appliances etc.
    2. Green Waste – Weeds; Grass; Leaves; Bark; Shrubs; Trees & Untreated Wood
    3. Mixed Building Waste – Building/renovation waste; Green Waste; Concrete, Pavers & Bricks; Clean Fill, Soil, Clay & Sand
    4. Concrete/Bricks – Concrete; Concrete Pavers; Roof Tiles & Bricks ONLY
    5. Soil/Clay - Clean soil or clay ONLY
  • Any waste that is deemed hazardous is not acceptable to be placed inside the skip bin. Materials that fall under this umbrella include paints, solvents, liquids, food, rotten materials and asbestos.

  • There is no exact way of knowing you have asbestos, unless you get a professional out to assess the items. As a general rule, houses that are pre-1985 tend to have some form of asbestos, usually in the bathroom or eaves of the house. It can also be mixed in with things such as old roof tiles, corrugated roofing and electrical metre boards. If unsure, seek the advice of a professional and get it tested.

We use waste transfer stations that recycle up to 85% of waste and use other full recycling depots.
